Hi
I have 2 daughters, the oldest one is 5 (6 in December)years old. She has just finished her first year at school.(reception think it is the same as Kindergarten) I was worried about her progress during the year as she battled to remember her sight words and just seemed to be so far behind the other children in her class who were reading already. So I thought I better do something to try and help her and did some research on the net and came across the reading lesson and decided to try it.
My daughter is now on lesson 11 and due to go back to school for year 1(Think it is the same as grade 1) and I am feeling more confident as she will be going back to school as a reader.
My other daughter is 4 years old and will be going to her first year of school (Reception) in September, she is currently on lesson 9 and just loves reading. It is nice that she will be starting school with such a head start.
I wish I had found out about this book long ago so that my oldest daughter didn't have to give up at school during her first year feeling that she just couldn't do it.
Thank you for an excellent program, it is worth every penny. I think we will have a party when the girls finish chapter 20 ;D
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to any parent trying to help a child battling or for a child who is young and bright.
Regards
Jeanette Gordon
