My son is in 6th grade, and has ADHD and take medicine. He also has a delay in development of auditory integration skills. He is really struggling with reading, to the point of failing at school. He has a IEP in place, which I start to question what the school is doing to help him. What can I do to help him improve his reading. Will Individual tutoring help? Any suggest is appreciated.

The good news about developmental disorders (these include ADHD, auditory processing, coordination disorders, and some others) is that they get better regardless of what you do. The bad news is that it might take a long time to catch up and sometimes the problems persist (at a lesser degree, though) into adulthood.
The best way to help your child is to work on a specific task, i.e. The best way to teach a child to read is to teach reading vs., for example, trying to” improve” his auditory processing.
Don't expect too much from schools. At best they would offer about 50% of what he needs. Your best bet is individual private tutoring that, unfortunately, might be quite expensive.
